Loft Insulation

Loft insulation is one of the most effective ways of reducing your heating bills and keeping your home warm. It is one of the most cost-effective ways of improving the energy efficiency of your home.

The ideal thickness for loft insulation is 250mm (10 inches). This level of insulation can save around 20% of your heating costs.

For customers with older installations of 100mm (4 inches) or less we recommend replacement with a modern thicker material.

Loft insulation undertaken by Ray Jones Roofing will include insulation of all pipework, water tanks and hatches. We will also install boarded passages and storage areas to your specification.

There are now many different insulating materials available including natural products like sheep's wool and hemp. We are happy to advise on the best insulation materials for your home and budget
